Synopsis: There is nothing normal about Pandora's life. Her family, her friends, oh- and definitely not her 3 new, male model roommates. They are gorgeous and sinfully sexy, so how is she going to manage living with them? This cute, dramatic, and hear-wrenching novel will definitely leave you wanting more!
During the UtopiaCon book convention, I had the chance to meet Amanda Jason (a.k.a Carol Kunz) again and I won this adorable book in a mini giveaway of hers. Of course, she signed it! (Personal Note: Ms. Kunz is such a kind woman and an old soul) Her pen name is very special to her. It represents a set of twin she lost, who’s names where to Amanda and Jason, had they lived.
Okay, back to the book. The best part about this book was definitely the characters!
Pandora Ann Philips – This college student and coffee shop barista is definitely a romantic. She’s sweet and kind, but hesitant to move in with three handsome strangers. She’s a good friend and charming character! “Her mom’s a psychic, her dad’s mom is a snob, her mom’s parental units are ‘too down to earth’ and her best friends are newlyweds”. Obviously her life isn’t as simple as it seems.
Drew – This bad-boy dreamboat comes with cation tape and a pantie dropper warning. Well, he might not be that bad, he’s a sweet heart when he wants to be, but for the most part, a cocky grin is glued to his face.
Colin – The British charmer. This gentleman is a perfect wing man and always knows the right thing to say to get you to agree with him.
Liam – He’s the mystery boy of the group(i.e. the Aussie hottie) and is definitely the doom and gloom of the party when he’s being a grumpy-butt … although much is revealed later in the book. (Grumpy-butt: having the attributes of someone who is mean, grumpy, and acts like a…butt hole)
As much as the story was sweet and enjoyable, its was also very typical and unrealistic. It has a ‘normal’ girl who is suddenly thrust into a world of beauty and super models. She can’t see the beauty within herself and/or doesn’t think she is good enough or the people that love her. Throw in some semi-expected plot twists and this novel is a pretty typical Nicholas Sparks romance. HOWEVER, this isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes the predictability is comforting and the shy romance is endearing. It’s all up to the reader’s interpretation. I choose to take it like this: A cute charming story with romance and humor.
If your looking for something action packed or a new story meant for the ages, this probably isn’t your cup of tea, but if you want a silly sweet romance, then maybe take a chance on this book.

Fun Fact – The number 4 in Japanese is a very unlucky number because the number sounds very close to the word ‘death’ in the japanese language. Ichi is 4, shi (死 is death).
